The Trust Factor: A Month-long Stewardship Emphasis

The Trust Factor is a month-long stewardship program for churches. Dr. Raymond F. Culpepper wrote recently in Forward Together in Changing Times, “We need to realize that trust is a currency—the fulcrum of our future. The future of the Church of God hinges upon our trust—first, in God, but also in one another.”

Two years ago, Stewardship Ministries made available a month-long stewardship program titled The Blessing Principle. Thousands of pastors within and without the Church of God have accessed The Blessing Principle: Blessed to Be a Blessing.

The Trust Factor: An Essential of Giving has the same elements that made The Blessing Principle a success. There are original sermons; sermon illustrations on trust; children, youth, and adult discipleship curriculum; children’s church curriculum; bulletin inserts; and a 28-day devotional guide. Promotional materials are available on this Web site for printing as mini-posters, bulletin inserts, and before-church PowerPoint presentations. As with The Blessing Principle, video clips are available as a unique way to introduce stewarship topics.

Stewardship Ministries Director Ken Davis states, “We are excited about this new stewardship program. The four weeks of emphasis zero in on our trusting God, God trusting us, and us trusting each other in the church and in the family.”
